RosenCare® Partners with the School District of Osceola County
RosenCare is excited and proud to announce it now manages the School District of Osceola County’s Center for Employee Health in Kissimmee, Florida, which serves 7,300 of the county’s school teachers, staff, and administrators. The clinic offers top-quality healthcare services such as primary care services, physical therapy, medical nutrition therapy, occupational health, on-site prescription dispensing, and on-site x-rays and EKGs.
RosenCare Owner and Operator Harris Rosen says, “I’m especially excited about this opportunity because it aligns with my interest in supporting education and children. Teachers and school staff are critical to ensure kids get the best possible start in life, so if we can take the worry about healthcare off their minds, they’re better equipped to focus on building strong students.”
RosenCare oversees the center’s operation including developing strategies for its success and further growth, while Healics, an industry leader in preventive health and wellness programs, handles the daily operations. Osceola County approached RosenCare to help in two important areas: improve its employee’s healthcare and help lower healthcare costs for its members, including out-of-pocket costs.
“After listening to feedback from our employees, the Osceola school board believes RosenCare is the proper community partner to service district employees and their families,” said Dr. Debra P. Pace, School District of Osceola County superintendent. “In the upcoming months, covered dependents will see a change in the focus of the Center from an acute care clinic to an all-inclusive medical home.”
